Day 5 | Day 5 KOBLENZ / RÜDESHEIM Full board on board. Early in the morning we will arrive in one of the most beautiful and oldest cities in Germany: Koblenz. The city is located in the world famous "German Bend". The spectacular landscape of four central massifs, vineyards and forests surrounds this town, which has been in existence for more than 2,000 years. In the early afternoon we will drop anchor in Rüdesheim, one of the most visited towns in the country. Historical monuments such as the Klunkhardshof, the fortified Adler Tower, the thousand-year-old Brömser Castle or the ruins of Ehrenfels Castle invite you to spend some time here. Day 6 | Day 6 MANNHEIM Full board on board. At midday, we will arrive in Mannheim, the German city where in 1886 the first Carl Benz automobile began to drive through its streets. The city offers a wide range of monuments, culture, art and gastronomy. The second largest baroque palace in Europe and the beautiful Water Tower are among the numerous monuments. The historic centre, Grande Île, was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1988 as a fine example of a medieval city. The place where the canals are conglomerated is called the Petite France, a former fishermen's and millers' quarter. In addition to the Petite France, the historic centre is home to a large number of interesting monuments, including the cathedral, which stands imperiously as a symbol of the city. Day 8 | Day 8 MAINZ Mainz is a city with a historical heritage of almost 2,000 years. The cityscape is dominated by Mainz Cathedral. In the shadow of the cathedral lies medieval Mainz, where life goes on in the narrow, narrow streets, in the numerous little shops, boutiques and cafés surrounding the wonderful Kirschgarten with its romantic half-timbered houses. Day 4 | Day 4 WORMS / RÜDESHEIM Full board on board. In the morning we arrive in Worms. The Germanic settlers made Worms their capital. The city is also famous for its Romanesque architecture. The highlight of the visit is the 11th century St. Peter's Cathedral. With its four towers and twin domes, this spectacular old building ranks alongside the cathedrals of Speyer and Mainz as one of the finest achievements of the High Romanesque style. The nave is particularly impressive, rising some 27 metres, while its domes reach heights of 40 metres. Bormes is also a popular base for a tour of the Deutsche Weinstrasse, a 50-mile route through the local wine towns. Optional visit. In the afternoon, we will drop anchor in Rüdesheim, one of the most visited towns in the country. Accommodation
The passenger cabins are distributed between two decks: Promenade and Main. They are spacious rooms of about 12m2 that have two beds that convert into a sofa during the day to create extra space (Main deck). The cabins have a large desk with a chair and a large mirror. All cabins are equipped with air conditioning/heating that can be regulated individually, satellite TV with several channels with a remote control, safe, telephone and hairdryer. An elegant bathroom is equipped with a shower and a sink. The cabins on the Main deck have panoramic windows, while the cabins on the Promenade deck have a French balcony.
